nber_musingsI have been moved almost to tears as I have read the comments from my friends…

Six years in SL feels like a lifetime.  During that “lifetime” I have met and grown to respect so many marvelous and talented people here in Second Life.  There have been so many changes in these years, I think I might write an article about some of those changes.  But for now…please indulge me as I respond to each of the people who posted on Mark’s article “Happy Birthday Nber!“.

First, @MTW - we complete each other.  Thank you for being in my life.

@Bea - you are one of the smartest, most creative, and hard working people I know.  I am SO glad our paths crossed.  @Liv - I LOVE your taste in clothes – just wish I had enough panache to carry it off !  :)  @Soro - your voice is ALMOST as good as Quirky’s and Trader’s – I miss listening to you judge races.  @Nber knows who – Yes I DO know who!  You never can tell when I will be in the neighborhood and drop in on you. :)  @Clay and the lovely Dolci – Your talents bring SO much to SLSailing, thanks for all that you do.  @momomos - What GREAT blimps!  You are truly a creative person.  @Jamie - I predict that in the next six years that sim crossings will be better and worse.  hehehe  @BeauZeau - Fair winds and clear skies.  May your altimeter never fail!  @JuanCruz - I’m so happy to have you as a friend.  Thanks for all that you do at Holly Kai!  @Scattered – May you always have dry powder!  @Niki – I’m glad I’ve gotten to know you.  May you alway recover from your stalls.  @Chad - That’s REAR Admiral to you Commodore! @Fanci - I’m glad the connection with Sailors Cove finally got made.  You and Patrick are GREAT neighbors.  @Sternchen - My life has gotten SO much better since you entered it.  We think SO much alike!  TY!  @Jacqueline - May all your crossings be smooth :)  @Sudane - Your good will and support as a neighbor are SO important to us.  @jeremia - Schiffsratten forever!  @Delinda – who you calling a dog? I also MUST thank Quirky for the ACA Racers sailing to and around Union Passage last night.  What a fun salute!  AND thanks for sending me the “Mankini” – I showed it to Mark and he couldn’t quit snapping pics.  I don’t think I can wear it in public though.

Thanks to everyone who reached out to me in one way or another.  You made my rezz day very very special.  I’m looking forward to many many more!
