The Flying Fizz makes its Hollywood debut. Today was the first formal races from the Hollywood startline as Taku Raymaker tacked some Fizz racing to Waypoint Yacht Club’s regular Thursday morning races. In the photo at left Mothgirl Dibou has her spinnaker flying as she heads toward a first place finish in the first Flying Fizz race. Closely following Mothgirl in this historic race is Bea Woodget. It’s a fitting one-two finish as Mothgirl is the designer of the Flying Fizz and Bea Woodget will be a race director for Starboards Yacht Club hosting Flying Fizz races.

This Sunday (10am) will mark the first formal SYC Flying Fizz regatta at Starboards Yacht Club as the the boat gets it’s debut on SAIL ON. You can purchase the boat on the Starboards Yacht Club docks as well as other locations in SL. It’s time to practice, practice, practice because the cameras are about to roll.
