Things are getting so exciting all over SL Sailing! The Flying Fizz is coming into it’s own. New “vessels” (see Sea Stories below) have been released or are about to be released (Jacqueline’s much anticipated square rigger). New sims are about to be added to the USS-SL. Just a teaser folks. More to follow.

And here at SLSailing.Com we have new developments as well. Just below this entry is the first installment of Vin Mariani’s new HOT PURSUIT column. An appropriate title for a column written by a huge Hot Laps fan. However Vin’s subject area is much broader than Hot Laps. Vin is interested in all things that help him excel in whatever boat or in whatever class of sailing competition he is in. In his first column (part one of a two parter) Vin shares what he has learned about the wind we sail in. In future columns he might write about strategy in beach cats, or… well let’s wait and see.

In hot pursuit right after Vin’s column is the second installment of Delinda Dyrssen’s Sea Stories where she spends some quality time with Surfwidow Beaumont. Interesting stuff you won’t want to miss.
