Passages #5 and #6

April 21st, 2008 · No Comments

Our Passages contests on Saturday mornings are rapidly maturing into a staple of the SL Sailing scene. Passages #5 and #6 saw two first time winners joining Oliphant Ming and Epicurus Emmons who split the first four contests.

In Week #5 Croco Capalini prevailed with an impressive 54.00 minute run, while Jane Fossett was our runner up. Then this past Saturday in Passages #6 we had another first time winner in Ahjep Kattun at 55.58 minutes.

There are some exciting tools being developed around the Passages contest. First of are the videos. We don’t promise new video every week, but when we can you will find videos posted here. Our first video, “Sailing Ships in Second Life #1″, has now been joined by the whimsical “Sailing Ships in Second Life #2″.

Next week Nber Medici will unveil a brand new scoring Passages Googlesheet for all to see that will quickly let us display results at the end of each contest. Moreover, we will be able to archive results making for some statisical analysis opportunities.

And we are working on ways to improve communications during the contests. More on that later.

For now, enjoy the newest Passages video:
