2008 World Fizz Cup - Qualification round 2 of 6 - NYC - HOTLAPS

Description: “The Wellkown NYC HOTLAPS course”, first race of the 2008 World Fizz Cup at NYC. Advantages: No capsize in Novice mode, enjoy…, most people will have some familiarity with it, it uses markers that are different from usual SYC courses, it won’t change as it is used for NYC HOTLAPS (no wind variance in that case).

Q: When will the results be published?
A: As soon as all groups have raced, after each round, on .COM. As well as that, after the second round, an intermediate ranking will be posted, with added times and ranking.

Q: I cannot be there at planified timeslot (regarding groups assignment)?
A: If a competitor misses a race, she/he is not disqualified. Instead, her or his time will be recorded as equal to the slowest competitor +20 seconds.

Q: If I miss a race, may I join another group?
A: Yes, but priority is given to sailors belonging to the group. No more than 7 boats will race at the same time. If there are less than 7 sailors, then Race Directors may allow you to participate.
