A very signficant event in SL Sailing history took place on Saturday morning with the formal launch of the SL Sailing Association (btw, all of you should join the Association as soon as possible, the SLSF group will be retired soon).
A Great Raft Up of the 13 boat classes we race in SL Sailing gathered in Gizo Straight. Afterwards a larger fleet sailed south to Aritificial Isle to informally welcome Ai to the USS-SL. I believe Jane Fossett plans to write a more detailed article about the event.
