The Tako Cup Quarterfinals are in the books. There were some very exciting racing and some interesting outcomes. Perhaps the most interesting result was Hans Zinnemann sweeping ACA-SL Cup champion Eugene Sodwind 3-0. Those who were in the ACA-SL Cup and now racing in the Tako Cup (i.e. the Automatic Qualifiers, or AQ) will probably tell you that getting back into practice (if they have laid off for a time) isn’t as easy as one might think.

In other matches Francois Jacques pulled out a 3-2 victory over AQ Cynthia Centaur, AQ skipper Svar Beckersted defeated Lar Kienzle 3-1, and Armchair Binder defeated AQ M1sha Dallin 3-1.
