This is the first installment of my new column. Right off the bat I need some help. I tried half a dozen titles for the column but haven’t found the one I like yet. Here’s a few that I toyed with:

• MarkTwain’s Ruminations
•  Truth and Half-Truth
• Truth, after a fashion
• Mark’s Coarse Comments
• Whine of the Ancient Mariner

I can’t say any of these really grab me. So I propose a contest. Come up with a column title I like and I honor you in the column, showering you with praise and accolades.

In general, columns at SLSailing.Com will appear on about a weekly basis, but I will post another one before I leave early Sunday morning for three weeks in Egypt (Day 12 which tomb is this?).

[Update: I really like Jaqueline Trudeau's suggestion for my column name and am going to adopt it. More praises for Jaqueline later. Nber was pulling for "Whine of the Ancient Mariner".]
