For the second edition of this award, again the principle of the nominations system was a great success with about 70 completed forms. The SLSA dotCOM SL Sailor of the Year Award, is the most prestigious award of recognition in the sport of SL Sailing. The nominees include the highest achievers from all disciplines of the sport. They are racers, builders, organizers, or whatever, they DO SL Sailing.

By Saturday the 15th of this month, a short list with 2 to 4 top-nominees will be published, for both categories “Female” and “Male”, and a voting system will be set up.
