SL SAILOR OF THE YEAR – AWARD 2011
For the second time, dotCOM sponsors the “SL SAILOR OF THE YEAR – 2011 AWARD“. Nominations are opened to all, independent or affiliated, without any kind of limitations. No jury here, but all of you.
Nominations are now invited for the 2011 SLSA dotCOM SL Sailor of the Year Awards, the most prestigious award of recognition in the sport of SL Sailing. The nominees and winners will include the highest achievers from all disciplines of the sport.

ABOARD THE MOD 70 N°1

With six boats and a transatlantic race being set up, the MOD 70 circuit is no longer just a virtual image. We went and saw for ourselves on board number one, Race For Water, skippered by Stève Ravussin. This boat is already out sailing, while waiting for the first exhibition match this autumn in Brittany along side Veolia and Foncia…then the Krys Ocean Race, a transatlantic crossing between New York and Brest in July 2012, which will be the first major offshore race for the latest one-design multihulls.
